Aloha! Today we’re excited to share more about the wedding of Hye and Robin, a beautiful (and photogenic!) couple who came to the Valley Isle from California for their wedding. They figured Maui was the perfect midway point to bring together all of their family and friends from the mainland and from Asia for the celebration, and reached out to Diana and the team to help them make it happen. Happily Maui’d hit the ground running, helping the happy couple in securing all of their preferred vendors and destinations for a treasured wedding in scenic West Maui, and helping to coordinate all of their loved ones’ arrivals from Asia and California, respectively. What a time was had by all!
These two lovebirds were married at the Steeple House in Kapalua, which has recently undergone a name change to the Maui Pineapple Chapel: a venue that remains every bit as spectacular as it is fun to say! Located in picturesque West Maui, it combines all of the historic charm with modern amenities that are sure to delight, and this wedding was no exception. A rose by any other name, the Maui Pineapple Chapel continues to be one of Maui’s most-premier and romantic wedding destinations.
The talented artists at Maui Makeup Artistry lived up to their billing, helping our beautiful bridge to be positively radiant for her walk down the aisle. Fen’Amber Photography did what she does best and captured all of the magic moments and stunning scenic backdrops, from the newlywed’s first kiss right on through to the first dance. Illuminated Visuals were also on hand, never missing a moment with their professional and exquisite talents for video. This happy couple were ready for their closeups, and thankfully Illuminated Visuals are always up to the challenge.
Talented local musician Kalo DeLeon provided a beautiful soundtrack, serenading the newlyweds with his unique blend of traditional Hawaiian music and all of the latest hits (go and check him out on YouTube and Spotify!). Liam Grist and Maui Wedding DJ Service were on hand to keep this party rocking at the reception, spinning all of their favorite tunes long into the evening.
No wedding celebration would be complete without a gorgeous array of eats and sweets, which were deftly handed by Celebrations by Bev Gannon, a full-service catering and events company located in Makawao. Bev and her crew proved themselves invaluable once again with an intoxicating blend of confectionaries and crafted cocktails, and the ambiance was further propelled into the stratosphere by Asa Flowers and an illuminating blend of local flowers and delights.
We were so proud and honored to take part in Hye and Robin’s big day, and we’d love to help you plan your wedding in paradise as well! Reach out and say hello to let Happily Maui’d plan a wedding that’s every bit as unique and spectacular as you are, guaranteed. Aloha!
